Morlanne : les Palombières

Start from the church car park. Take the street on the right, parallel to the RD 946 and falling back onto it (at the calvary).

Quickly after crossing the D946, take the tarmac path on your left over the ridge to the picnic area.

From the picnic area, you'll have a superb view of the medieval village of Morlanne. On your right, take the dirt track down to Tisné, which serves as the route for the famous Soubestre hill rally.

When you reach a tarmac track, turn right and then left at the ascent via Chapelle de Moustrou.

Below the chapel, descend to your left and take the small bridge over the stream. We're heading for Arget church.

Continue on the RD 264 to the heights of Arget.

Before a rise at the junction on the right, the BIS itinerary is suggested: by turning right, a loop of almost 2 km will take you through a valley bordering the Landes. Alternatively, continue on the main road and at the next junction, turn left for 300m.

Leave the road on your left and head for "Les Capères", overlooking Morlanne.

At the junction with the tarmac road, turn left and go down to the small stream. Go back up towards the fountain and the Morlanne church.
