N°92 - Le Cambeillou

From Oloron Sainte-Marie, take the direction towards Saragosse at the roundabout, then continue towards Esquiule (RD24). Upon reaching the village, cross the main street, turn left at the end, and at the stop sign, turn left again. Drive a few meters to park near the trailhead sign. From the trailhead sign, cross the D24 road and take the path descending to the right. Cross the stream and continue uphill. After 800 m, turn right and continue climbing after a barrier.

On the road, continue straight to reach the ridges. To the right of the last house, take the steep path for 100 m before turning left. Pass by a watering trough and climb a path to reach an asphalt road.

Turn left and follow the road for 500 m, leaving the return path on your right

Leave the road and turn right twice to ascend to the summit of Cambeillou following the yellow markers.

At the summit, descend on the other side towards the pine forest, turn left to circle around the summit on its flank, and return to the path used for ascent.

On the road at the junction, take the descending path to the left, which joins a small road.

At the next intersection, leave the Cambeillou path to your left and continue on the trail to return to the village of Esquiule.

At the junction with the D24 road, turn right and after a few hundred meters, you will find the starting point again.
