Etape 1

From the car park under the plane trees, you will come to one of Arrien's two drawing stations (the second being at the fountain), which allows you to draw the church.
Walk past the church and take the grassy path to the left, heading due west towards the fountain. A sign tells the legend of St John. From the fountain, retrace your steps and, on returning to the church, turn left onto the track. At the farm, follow the path to the right, although it can be muddy in wet weather. It descends and crosses a pebble track which you need to climb again.
