Description

Forest walk starting from the village with a splendid panorama on the chain of Aravis.

DEPARTURE: Tourist Office of Notre Dame de Bellecombe.

ROUTE: from the Tourist Office, go back briefly along the Route des Grandes Alpes to the direction of TÉLÉSKI DU REGUET. Continue straight on the track towards the TERRET. Turn left then left again to reach the bottom of the TÉLÉSKI DE LA VERDETTE. Follow the path on the right towards LE FAY. Back on the track, continue right to return to the village.

POINT OF INTEREST :
- The "télétraineau", a ski transportlift classified industrial heritage that you can admire in front of the parking of the town hall. Dating from 1937, it was the first ski lift of Notre Dame de Bellecombe. It operated until 1948 before being replaced by the first ski lift with pylons. This model, unique in France, allowed to transport 20 people with their skis to the summit of Reguet in 6 minutes.
