The 17 hectare park of Cadarsac with its 15 hectare lake is a delight for fishermen, walkers and other sportsmen of all kinds. The lake is an old gravel quarry which was used to build part of the Bordeaux Périgueux Clermont-Ferrand motorway. It is a nature reserve where dogs are forbidden. Several species stay on the site, both aquatic and volatile. A couple of swans brood in the summer months on the edge of the lake. Place of fishing, it is not uncommon to witness beautiful catches (a carp of 15 kg on May 5, 2016) returned to the water after weighing and photo.
The Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, quiet walks, with a pushchair or a small bike, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair), proposed by the French Federation of Hiking of the Gironde.
