Balade à roulettes : Le parc Palmer

Description

The Palmer Park covers 25 hectares. It is a very nice place to walk and discover beautiful views of Bordeaux. It consists of vast rolling meadows, alleys lined with trees and flowers. Château Palmer belonged to Charles Palmer, Mayor of Bath and Major of the English armies who fought against Napoleon during the Spanish War. On the Bordeaux side, a vast stone terrace is supported by four pairs of Doric columns.

The Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, quiet walks, with a pushchair or a small bicycle, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair), proposed by the Fédération Française de Randonnée de la Gironde.
