Famous for its terroir and its exceptional wines, the town of Pauillac also offers a very pleasant route along the Gironde. The Gironde is the meeting point of the Dordogne and Garonne rivers, an estuary 75 km long and 12 km wide at its mouth. Still wild and preserved, the Gironde estuary is particularly known by photographers for its exceptional lights depending on the time of day and the season.
The Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, quiet walks, with a pushchair or a small bicycle, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair), proposed by the French Federation of Rambling of the Gironde.
