This 68 km sportive route starts in Pompadour, famous for its national stud farm and its imposing castle, then the former property of the favourite marquise of Louis XV.
After a few kilometres, the route takes you to Uzerche, a town of character described as the "pearl of the Limousin" by the writer Arthur Young. The fortified town has its origins in the Gallic period and is home to many architectural treasures, such as the unmissable Saint-Pierre abbey church with its unique octagonal bell tower.
The journey continues in style with a visit to Ségur-le-Château, which has been awarded the title of "Most Beautiful Village in France". It is up to you to fall under the spell of this picturesque medieval town, whose castle remains still seem to protect the village from the top of its hill.
All along your journey, you will be amazed by the diversity and richness of the landscape.
