From Pérols-sur-Vézère, you head for a village of Gallic indomitability: the village of Variéras. A charming little hamlet with 70 houses, its particularity is its thatched houses, just like the villages of our ancestors. You take the road again in the direction of Saint-Merd-les-Oussines. Enjoy a short diversions to its pond with numerous water lilies.
On the way back to Pérols-sur-Vézère, the site of Les Cars is less than 100 metres from your path, the most remarkable Gallo-Roman site in the Limousin dating from the 2nd century AD.
