Le Plateau d'Eygurande leisure cycling circuit

Escape to the Eygurande plateau, between mountainous and volcanic landscapes... This 15 km cycling route offers a slightly hilly layout, for a memorable cycling trip!
As well as offering a warm welcome, the town of Eygurande is the starting point for your tour and promises some great discoveries... Heritage enthusiasts will find themselves on holy ground here, as Eygurande is renowned for its rich religious heritage. The Notre-Dame d'Eygurande chapel is a must-see place and is still the subject of an annual pilgrimage.
The tour continues on to the astonishing Agriers massif which culminates at 915 m at the Puy du Vareyron. Here you will find an orientation table allowing you to see the Auvergne and Limousin mountains from all angles... Note to photo enthusiasts! The massif is characterised by the omnipresence of forest and heather moors.
