How about a nice bike ride?
Take advantage of the "La Vallée du Chavanon" cycling circuit to discover an amazing natural setting. With a length of 14 km 700, the circuit is a great adventure to share with your family!
The Chavanon valley, which lies between Corrèze and Puy de Dôme, is of great interest in terms of landscape, geology, ecology and botany. This river flows through a very steep valley with wooded slopes and rocky outcrops.
The route follows part of the river Chavanon and allows you to contemplate the remains of the old lime kilns of Savennes.
The route also offers you the opportunity to contemplate one of the three viaducts of the A89 in the canton of Eygurande. A technical and aesthetic feat, the Chavanon viaduct is 360 m long and forms a link between the Limousin and the Auvergne.
