Description

The Bois de Thouars is an area of preserved nature within the city of Talence. With its 60 hectares, 30 of which are wooded, it is home to a rich and varied fauna and flora, making it a site to be rediscovered but also to be protected.

The Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, quiet walks, with a pushchair or a small bicycle, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair), proposed by the French Federation of Hiking of the Gironde.

Du parking, prendre la rue principale qui rentre dans le parc. Un peu avant une barrière, emprunter le chemin à droite que l’on suit jusqu’au terrain de foot. Contourner les terrains de foot par la gauche par un chemin qui nous conduit devant le château de Thouars.

Le château et les étangs

Au château, suivre à gauche l’allée du château puis au bout à gauche, prendre l’allée des petits rois, pour contourner le parc de jeux pour enfants. Puis, prendre le premier chemin sur la droite pour rentrer à nouveau dans le parc. Suivre ce chemin sur la droite pour atteindre un premier étang que l’on contourne. Puis rentrer à nouveau dans le parc, pour atteindre un deuxième étang.
