The Arcins marsh is classified as a Natura 2000 area and offers rich and diverse natural environments: salt and brackish vegetation resulting from tidal movements, wet meadows and alder and ash woods. The site is suitable for the reproduction of amphibians, dragonflies and birds. A trained eye will enable you to spot some rare species: the marsh copper, the estuarine angelica, the wild orchid or the charming otter and the European mink!
The Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, quiet walks, with a pushchair or a small bicycle, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair), offered by the French Federation of Rambling of the Gironde.
