This itinerary takes you exploring "the land of artists". Morestel, the town of painters (4-flower rating in the "town in bloom" awards) is shoulder-to-shoulder with Brangues, the village of writers that so inspired the works of Paul Claudel and Stendhal.
From Morestel, take the D16 road towards Saint-Victor-de-Morestel, then the D60a to Brangues.
At Brangues, turn off left onto the D60 towards Gouvoux and Creys-Mépieu, then take the D14a towards Faverges and Mépieu, then Arandon via the D16f.
Head back to Morestel via Crevière and Passins taking the D44 road, then the D517.
