Sentier Les crêts

A rare wetland; a former area of agricultural land that is no longer farmed, the wetlands of Valorges gradually evolved into groves and later forests. Enhanced by a information panel, it is accessible by the pedestrian circuits marked with a letter Z from the village: 7 - 11.5 and 13 km. This place is part of the Auvergne Rhône Alps Conservatory of Natural Spaces.

On the Violay road, 2 km from Saint Cyr de Valorges. A trail climbs up to the monument built in 1945 in memory of five American airmen who met their deaths on 28 April 1944 during an operation parachuting weapons to Maquisard fighters in the region.
