Hiking trail - La Dame du Castel d’Auze

Sénezergues is located South of the natural region of Veinazès, in the Southern part of the Châtaigneraie. The village above the Auze river is connected to two important hiking paths, crossing the diversity of the Châtaigneraie landscapes.

Artisanal soap factory located in Sénezergues, a charming village in the Cantal region. We make handcrafted soaps and cosmetics from natural ingredients.Our products are designed with quality, ecology and the local environment in mind. With recipes based on vegetable oils, plants and clays, and raw materials from organic farming, partly sourced from local producers. All our products are Nature & Progrès certified, and designed to suit every skin type and every member of the family. The soap factory welcomes you on site, where you can discover the products, the place of production and the manufacturing stages. Open all year round by appointment by telephone. Every Wednesday in July and August, starting at 3pm, we offer a soap-making demonstration (lasts about 1 hour, free of charge, on reservation).

As a herbalist, I pick on preserved spots and carefully grow through organic methods 30 aromatic and medicinal plants. After harvest, I place them into a dryer in order to create tasty herbal teas and herbs that enhance your dishes.I offer a wide range of single and synergistic hydrolates by distilling them in a copper still. I macerate them so as to develop massage and care oils and balms. In July and August, on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, I welcome you between 4pm and 6pm to show you around the crops and the laboratory (places are limited, by reservation only - free of charge).
