The hiking trail of the Gallo-Roman cemetery of Walscheid, starts from the lake of this village. Halfway along the path, you will discover the Gallo-Roman cemetery, also called the cemetery of the Three Saints. It is a group of funerary steles grouped in an enclosure. The steles are in the shape of a house.
From the 1st to the 4th century A.D., a civilization developed on the heights of the Vosges, focused on agriculture and livestock. It was concentrated in the mountainous areas like Walscheid. Hence the presence of this cemetery.
The circular path is 6.5 km long and takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete. The difficulty is average because of the elevation gain.
