Mountain bike route - In the heart of the chestnut trees

The Châtaigneraie Ecomuseum.A playful discovery of the chestnut production history and present in the region. A 1950s grocery store, an oven, a typical chestnut dryer, a medieval tunnel, but also an orchard, a tree nursery and diverse animals complete the tour. You will taste a chestnut specialty and you will find a range of chestnut products in the shop.

L’Estanquiol: free swimming area supervised in July and August everyday afternoons. Fishing activity (1st category = whitefish): Specific local card on sale at the Calvinet post office: 5 trout per day, €6 per adult per day or €40 per season. SWIMMING AND FISHING BANNED IN 2024.

Carp especially and other large fish (no kill). Barbless hooks. Access authorised to one half of the pond only, the other half being reserved for campsite guests.
