A pleasant walk. Halfway along the route, a forest path takes you to the Fourneau Saint-Michel, an open-air museum of rural life in Wallonia, and the Iron Museum (see Saint-Michel - Masbourg walk). As you climb back up the Diglette valley, you can admire the centuries-old oaks of this magnificent forest, and the blueberries and raspberries in the undergrowth are a delight to walkers. At the top of the hill, there is a barbecue shelter on the right. As you descend, you will enjoy superb views of the region. Further on, on your right, at a place called ‘Pré Lacroix’, you will see the pavilion where Pierre Napoléon Bonaparte, the emperor's nephew, stayed around 1870. Along the road on your left is a outdoor pig farm.
