Description

In the 12th century, four lords divided the forest among themselves. This division lasted until the Revolution in 1792, when it was declared national property. Today, it is part of the continuity of the Sierck state forest.
This circuit follows part of the GR5 long-distance hiking trail. A stele marks the route and directs walkers throughout Western Europe on the paths to Santiago de Compostela.
