Located right by the Cotes de Meuse and in the heart of the Regional Natural Park, Madine lake is comprised of a 1100 hectares lake, 250 hectares of forest and 42 kilometers of coast. The biodiversity of Lake Madine is behind the creation of the National Hunting Reserve and Wildlife. This covers 1800 hectares and encompasses the entire shore of Lake Madine. It is managed by the National Office for Hunting and Wild Fauna (ONCFS), which develops missions relating to environmental protection and knowledge of wildlife and its habitus.
