EuroVelo 3: Namur - Charleroi

Upon leaving Namur, this stage of the itinerary passes through various fabulous landscapes. You take the RAVel network along the Sambre, to the peaceful rhythm of the river’s bends. Rural locks and bridges follow one after another in the heart of nature. The RAVel network will also allow you to discover a transitional landscape, which is sometimes rural, such as near Floreffe Abbey, and occasionally post-industrial, like when you cross the 'Basse-Sambre' and enter Charleroi You will then be immersed in an impressive industrial heritage that has been sublimated by street art, not forgetting the Rockerill, a concert hall located in the former forges.
