Together with the forests of Rulles and Chenel, the forest of Anlier is one of the largest forests in the kingdom. Deploying some 7000 hectares of its hardwood massif on the borders of the communes of Habay, Léglise, Fauvillers and Martelange. It covers the ridge separating the Rhine and Meuse basins. Its northern slope culminates at 517m and its southern slope collapses at 400m.
