Circuit de l'Arre

Circuit de l'Arre
Credit : V. Govignon

Description

A riverside trail and the silk industry up to the beginning of the 21st century in the Pays Viganais.

At Le Vigan, cross the Roman bridge and turn right onto the small Fabrègue road.
When you come to the Fabrègue building, continue straight ahead along the back of it.
The path descends, crosses a dry stream and continues right up through chestnut woods (this climb is the only difficulty of the route).
A descent between two ancient walls leads to a new stream, which you can easily cross on a bridge.
The path joins the tarmac road (D48a). Turn right for about ten metres before taking the path which descends again to the right.
When you reach the D48, turn right onto the GR7, which runs alongside the river and takes you to Le Vigan.
