Description

During this tour, you will take a trip through the local history, and discover Mornant’s monuments.We'll start by wandering through what was the village in medieval times. Then we'll go over to the remains of the River Gier's Roman aqueduct. Next, we'll go back to the areas which were developed in the nineteenth century, finishing the visit Saint Peter's Gothic church.
The village was listed as a parish as early as the year 908, in the Savigny Abbey cartulary.
