Wander through the fields on the Gâtinais plateau and then descend under the woods, where vines were grown, in the Loing valley.
The flow of the river is so irregular, between marshes and ponds, that a canal had to be dug to double for river transport purposes.
1 - Take the rue de la Grange au Blé, leaving the rue du Vallot on the right. After 200m, turn left into rue de l'École and right into rue de la Mare to follow the path between houses and fields. Take the left-hand path until you reach the crossroads at the power line.
2 - Turn left and right at the edge of the road, enter the wood.
At the end of the wood, follow the edge to the left. Turn left onto the D40 and then right onto the second track. It descends in a talweg to the railway line. Pass under the railway and follow the road to cross the Loing canal at the lock.
3 - Take the towpath on the left, and the next bridge on the left. The road crosses the railway and then climbs into the woods. Leave it on the right after a right-hand bend.
4 - Climb the path, keeping the same direction. Cross the D40 and turn right into Rue du Gâtinais, crossing the hamlet of La Groue. Turn left into rue du Vallot and continue straight ahead along the path towards the edge of Bois-Saint-Séverin. Turn left and then left again to enter Corbeval via Rue du Vallot.
This route is marked in yellow by the Codérando.
