The lake of Cazaux is the third largest natural freshwater lake in France, straddling the departments of Gironde (Pays de Buch) and Landes (Pays de Born). The lake is part of the network of "Natura 2000" wetlands of the back dunes of the Born and Buch countries.
Enclosed between the forest and the lake, the Nautical Halt of Cazaux will charm you with its small marina and its captaincy. Picturesque place, it is very appreciated for its calm and its conviviality.
The Balades à Roulettes ®(BR®) are short, quiet walks, with a stroller or a small bicycle, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair), proposed by the French Federation of Hiking of the Gironde.
