On the tracks of the Haureuils district.
A well preserved local know-how.
The district has interesting and typical heritage elements of the Haute Lande Girondine such as Landes barns, sheep pens in Barat-Neou but above all a well marked local know-how with the Dubourg establishments, known as the Grès de Gascogne, installed in the heart of the forest for more than 150 years, close to a clay deposit of an exceptional fineness which has existed for millions of years. They produce paving stones and ceramic tiles but also this famous resin pot called "Hugues pot"
And on the way to the bakers, the family bakery "Le fournil d'Albert" is the witness of another time. Patrick Bordessoules and his sister, Corinne, have reopened the bakery in memory of their grandfather, keeping the old-fashioned method.
