Départ depuis le parking de l'ancienne gare de Thury Harcourt.

Traverser le passage à niveau, obliquer à gauche et montrer le chemin de la Libération assez pentu. Au bout de ce chemin, prendre la petite route à gauche. Au croisement, continuer sur la gauche et descendre jusqu'à la Tranchée du Hom.

Au stop, tourner à droite. Traverser le pont. Prendre en face le chemin du Roc Blanc (GR36) et continuer à droite le chemin qui mène à la Chapelle de la Métairie.

Au carrefour, tourner à gauche et descendre la petite route. Continuer tout droit par le sentier très humide jusqu'à la D121.

Traverser la D6 et monter le chemin en face (attention route passagère)

En haut de ce sentier, tourner à gauche. Descendre le chemin sur 100m environ.

Prendre le petit sentier à droite qui descend entre deux maison et rejoindre la Rue du Val d'Orne. Tourner à gauche et poursuivre jusqu'à la D6. Puis, prendre à droite pour rejoindre le point de départ.

Thury Plein Air

In the heart of the Suisse Normande region, the Thury Plein Air outdoor centre welcomes you for supervised activities and hire, for individuals and groups. Discover the magnificent landscapes between Clécy, Thury-Harcourt and the Val de Maizet by hiring canoes, kayaks, bicycles, pedalos and single and giant stand-up paddles. In a kayak (single-seater) or canoe (double-seater, with the option of adding a third person), come and cruise the Orne with family and friends to discover the hidden corners of Normandy. You can hire canoes on site and choose from four routes ranging from 7 to 15km, with trips lasting from 1 to 5 hours. Explore the Suisse Normande region by bike (mountain bike, VTC and electric bike) on the voie verte (towards Caen or Clécy) and on the mountain bike trails accessible from the entrance to the base. Groups can also discover other activities such as archery, orienteering and climbing. A total immersion in nature, less than 30 km from Caen!
