The traditional hunt of the lords

This loop invits you to cross the woods and forests and to admire the great Château de Beaumont and its nice chapel.

This 20,9 km long ride is recommended for children over the age of ten, occasional cyclists and cycling enthusiasts.
Starting from Pouzy-Mesangy, take the time to admire the great 14th century Pouzy castle. This stone and wood building owned moats and drawnbridge which are so representative of the bourbonnais. Follow your way to neighbouring village of Lurcy-Lévis by crossing forest of Champroux and wood ""Bois de Soussarin"". Ride along Billot pond, then go to Neure. Cross the village and ride near the little roads to ""Château de Beaumont"", castle made in stone and slate. The castle overlooks the coutryside and Bieudre river. Every year in September, the pretty little chapel next to the castle is the place to welcome pilgrims.
