Le Lambon, une vallée secrète - parking haut base de loisirs du Lambon

The walk takes you through the contrasting landscapes of this part of the Mellois region. The Lambon has carved out a deep, narrow valley. The hillsides, always wooded and rarely inhabited (except by the miller?) are grazed or left fallow, while the plateaus are cultivated. Settlement has thus taken place in a very characteristic position, on the edge of the plateau and the slopes.

Initiated in the 2000s, the walks are now managed by the Mellois en Poitou community of communes, in collaboration with the local communes. To date, there are 50 of these itineraries, ranging from 1 to 16 km, enabling families, cyclists and experienced walkers to explore the region and discover its many facets (landscapes, small-scale heritage, etc.).
