Lake, fountains and wash houses offer refreshing stops on this circuit, traced in the tormented landscape of the Pays de Serres, at the gates of Agen and the Garonne valley. Following the floods of 1993, the Syndicat Intercommunal d'Aménagement de La Masse et de La Laurendanne decided to build a flood protection structure. Since 1998, this 22-hectare reservoir has been recovering water from a catchment area of 880 hectares and can collect a volume of water of 1,172,000 m³
Landscaping has enabled the reservoir to be integrated into the natural environment and an agreement has been signed with the Lot-et-Garonne federation for fishing and protection of the aquatic environment.
