Sos, la promenade de Campet

The sand of the Landes and the clay of the valleys, the cultivated forest of pines and the older and wilder forest of oaks, hazel trees and acacias, this is a walk full of contrasts in the heart of nature. Shortly after the start you will discover the site of Gueyze with the old castle and the fortified mill of the 15th century and its church of the 11th century with the trefoil apse. After the monument dedicated to the resistance fighters of Nerac, you will cross the Gueyze. You will then take a long forest path which leads to the clearing surrounding the church of Meylan. After the town hall, sandy or sandy paths cross coniferous plantations, but also hornbeam, acacia and oak woods. Cross the Gueyze again on a two-arched bridge to reach the town hall.
