Promenade du Gros Bois P1

An easy and varied walk with beautiful views and a pleasant path along the Almache stream. 

The walk starts in the village on a quiet tarmac road before changing to a gravel road. This climbs slowly through a beautiful beech forest to the highest point of the walk. Where it meets the G2 path, the walk turns sharply left before descending gently into the Almache valley. At Pont de Gades, it follows the stream. A little further on, stone steps allow you to get closer to the water. After a short climb along a narrow path, you reach the open plain in front of the village.
