The Eurovélo3, the Pilgrims' Cycle Route, retraces the famous route of Santiago de Compostela from Norway to Spain. A journey of more than 5000 km through seven countries. The French part is called La Scandibérique. It is currently the longest cycle route in France.
It passes through Paris and the Ile-de-France, the Loire Valley, Bordeaux and the Lot-et-Garonne on the Canal des 2 Mers à Vélo. At Feugarolles, you will leave the greenway to head towards the Landes forest along the small bucolic roads of Albret. From the bastide town of Vianne to the charming village of Sos, via Mézin, the gateway to the Armagnac region, and Poudenas with its Tuscan-style castle, there is no doubt that you will find everywhere in the Lot-et-Garonne region an excuse to try the flavours of Armagnac, Buzet wines or foie gras.
