This short family hike starts in the picturesque village of Vicq-sur-Gartempe and continues to one of France?s most beautiful villages, Angles-sur-l?Anglin, with its fortress and prehistoric site. Crossing fields, you pass the pretty village of Saint-Pierre-de-Maillé and skirt the Gartempe through pretty woods and vistas. A magnificent château and a wealth of built heritage await you on the heights of the Gartempe. Back to Vicq-sur-Gartempe, with a beautiful view of the church.
