Sigoulès is situated on the banks of the Gardonnette and is renowned for its wine production. Archaeological excavations carried out in the commune have revealed the remains of a paved Roman road crossing the Gardonnette at a ford. Signed ceramics also confirm that the site was settled in Gallo-Roman times.
Go for a nice walk and visit the church of St Jacques le Majeur located in the village and the church and cemetery of Lestignac listed as historical monuments.
