Description

The 20-hectare Lac d'Arzacq is used for agricultural purposes (irrigation). The north/north-western part of the lake is dedicated to leisure, relaxation and fishing, with a gravel path running the length of the lake. The other part is a refuge for many migratory and, above all, sedentary birds. To maintain this balance, make sure you stay on the path and don't get too close to the water.

Steps

Etape 1

The route starts from the car park (start PR7).

Etape 2

Take the gravel path beside the lake.

Etape 3

At the end of the lake, take the dirt track; further along you will come to a wire fence. Continue along this path along the lake as far as the dyke.

Etape 4

Walk along the dike to the car park. You are now back at the starting point.

19th century wash-house in the shape of a horseshoe. To get there, follow the slope of the dyke using the handrails.
