Enjoy the stunning natural surroundings of Le Biot and Saint Jean d'Aulps, surrounded by Alpine meadows, with an unbeatable view of the Vallée d'Aulps and Mont Blanc too!
Along the way, don't miss the traditional alpine flowers amidst the green alpine meadows, and the oratory nestling in the hollow of a rock.

Du hameau des Cottets à l'Herny

Au lieu dit "les Cottets", prendre la route forestière en direction de l'alpage de l'Haut Thex. Après 15 minutes de marche, une bifurcation se présente un peu avant l'Herny (910 m d'altitude). - Circuits de france

Au milieu des alpages

Bifurquer sur la route forestière qui part sur la droite et qui permet de découvrir les villages de Seytroux et du Biot. Ne pas manquer par la suite l'oratoire creusé dans le rocher.Le sentier débouche sur l'alpage, à proximité d'un bassin. - Circuits de france

Retour vers le Biot

Au niveau du bassin, prendre le sentier qui part sur la droite et qui traverse l'alpage. Poursuivre la balade en redescendant par l'autre route forestière qui rejoint le hameau des Cottets.Lors de cette descente, deux oratoires sont à découvrir. - Circuits de france

Departure from the hamlet of Les Cottets
1/ Take the road that climbs to the left towards the Haut Thex mountain pasture.
2/ After a 15-minute walk, turn right onto the forest track. The path leads to the mountain pasture, near a pond.
3/ From the pond, take the track down to the right, crossing the mountain pasture.
4/ At the bottom of the mountain pasture, take the forest track on the right to reach the hamlet of Les Cottets.
