Saint-Vincent-de-Paul is a small, rural commune in the Bordeaux metropolitan area, located at the crossroads of two major historical routes: the Dordogne, which for centuries was sailed upstream by ships for the wine trade, and the road to Paris, once used by Frankish invaders and pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
The Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, leisurely walks, with a baby carriage or small bike, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in wheelchairs), offered by the Fédération Française de Randonnée de la Gironde.
