On leaving the village of Ayen, take the D39 towards Brive, turn on the left towards Route des Puys. At the top of the hill of Ayen, one can commune with nature while enjoying the scenery breathtaking from viewing table (view 360 °): the mountains of Auvergne, Limousin and the Montagne , closest to the Puy Yssandon, viaducts and Vignols Hautefort.

This church possesses an octagonal dome surmounted by a square bell tower. Inside, altarpiece and woodwork of the XVIIth century. The church is opened only upon request. Tel : 00 33 5 55 25 11 42 (Town Hall).

This charming medieval village is built on a ridge on the border between the Corrèze and the Dordogne. 12C Romanesque church. Guided tours of the village all year by prior arrangement for individuals and groups. Duration: 1hr/1hr 30.

12th-century abbey church. The nave was destroyed during the religious wars. 16th-century statue of St Antoine, in limestone and sandstone. 13th-century wooden crucifix. Wrought-iron cross on the square dating back to the15th/16th century with the six attributes of the Passion.

Précieux témoin du premier art roman en Bas-Limousin. Après avoir fondé le monastère d'Arnac, Guy de Lastours donne l'église de Segonzac aux moins de cette dernière. La majeure partie de l'édifice porte la marque du XIe siècle. Fragments d'un important retable baroque et peintures murales sur la voûte du choeur de Nicolas Katkov artiste ayant fuit la Russie soviétique vers 1920.

Founded in 1990, this arboretum (9 ha) contains a collection of 1,600 species of trees and shrubs, each labelled with information. The park also boasts four small lakes home to ducks and geese. Objects of art and kitsch also embellish the grounds.
