Description
Corgnac sur l'Isle is a village rich in history and heritage. Indeed, 200 million years ago, dinosaurs left footprints in the village, and more recently, Neolithic dwellers have left traces of their habitats. Corgnac has also seen the unfortunate passing of Richard C?ur de Lion.
Did you know? From 1910 to 1963, Grimaud playing card paper was manufactured in a mill in Corgnac sur l'Isle. Between the wars, the backs of the cards were also printed there, and in 1939 the La Roche factory produced cards ready for sale! PDIPR hiking trails
