Come and walk alongside Lulu the dragonfly to discover the riches of the wetlands. You'll find educational panels along the way. Frogs and lizards will hold no more secrets for you!
From Le Tovet, follow the trail that starts at the Totem at the entrance to the Wetlands Interpretation Trail. Lulu the dragonfly, the trail's mascot, will be pointing the way along the path.
After an initial climb, you rejoin the track and continue left towards the marmot observation point and the wetlands presentation table. Just before entering an undergrowth area, a footpath to the right and back takes you to a presentation of lizards in the ruins of an old mountain pasture chalet. The next stop is the Sabot de Vénus, a flower emblematic of our region, which can be seen a little way off the path.
Continue upwards until you reach a small path just before the Chalet des Terreaux, where you will alternate between mountain pastures and forest. You will pass anthills, listen to the sounds of nature and cross the pond, a beautiful wetland with a display of amphibians.
Continue along the path. Take a short, steep path through the forest to reach the last wetland area, cross it on an 800-metre-long platform and then rejoin the path back to your starting point.

Chez Fred

Refuge Le Nant du Beurre
The refuge opened in December 2012. Located at an altitude of 2,080 meters, on a magnificent and wild site in the Beaufortain massif.Located on an open and sunny valley, it offers an exceptional view of the other massifs: Lauzière, Cheval Noir, Vanoise, further afield, Meije, Ecrins ... These sunsets over Lauzière remain a great gift! Wild and peaceful place that invites you to contemplation. In winter you can come by cross-country skiing (the refuge is located on the Nordic area of Grand Naves 73260), snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding. The refuge offers a capacity of 38 places divided into 4 dormitories of 6 places, 2 of 5 places and 2 of 2 places. Catering, half-board, overnight stay, picnic room. Shower, Wc. Outside the opening periods (guarded refuge) contact Pascale to collect the keys to the winter refuge which is next to the new one.
