Traversée des Bauges
Description
This long crossing begins with an ascent up the Gorges du Sierroz. Just after the impressive Pont de l'Abîme, you will enter the heart of the mountain range and leave via the Col du Frêne. The return leg winds its way through the vineyards of the Combe de Savoie.
Can be started from Aix-les-Bains or Montmélian.

Pont de l'Abîme
A suspended metal bridge, built in 1887 by the engineer Baudin. 64 m long, situated 96 m above the Chéran, it links Cusy to Gruffy, and is listed as a heritage site. A plunging view over the chaos of the Chéran. Hike departure point.

Les Mottets Beach
Beach located at the end of a large nature reserve between the Lac du Bourget and Aix-les-Bains
Rowing Beach
Free-access beach, supervised in the summer.
Bourget-du-Lac Beach
Beach with lawns, fine sand and water games for children. The beach is supervised and during the summer there is an admission fee. A snackbar and a restaurant are close by.
