GR® - Pays de Castelnau-de-Montmiral - Penne

Over a distance of 23 kilometres on the GR de Pays path, this stage takes you on a visit to the heart of the fortified medieval towns in the north-west of the Tarn, between Castelnau-de-Montmiral, Cordes and Penne.

Relive the history of these bastides through their exceptional historical heritage, like a journey through time. The view from the village of Penne and its imposing medieval fortress built on a rocky spur above the Aveyron Gorges is not to be missed!
