Bike tour: le Colombage

Half a day of discovery of atypical half-timbered houses.
From the Offendorf marina, drive to the municipality of Offendorf and continue to Gambsheim. From the town hall, a beautiful and imposing half-timbered building, elected in 2017 as one of the most beautiful town halls in France, take the streets and adjacent alleys to discover a group of more than 70 atypical houses and especially their balcony on the gable overlooking the street. Join the village of Kilstett. The commune has set up an educational trail to help discover the origin of the nicknames and other nicknames given to old local families. The return journey is via Gambsheim and its 15th century chapel, then Offendorf and its marina.
