Go up the street that is in front of the Hotel des Vosges > Go down the first street on the right which joins a wide forest road> Turn left and go up the wide forest road until the paved road> Follow it for about 2.5 km > On an asphalt road, take the latter one on the left arriving on Allenwiller> At the Protestant Church of Allenwiller, go up the street ont the left to the sports trail> Then follow the forest road to the right for about 1 km> At the crossroads go down to the left and take the next path on the right going past Le Gros Chêne classified > Back on the paved road at the entrance of Birkenwald> At the crossroads go up the road on the right and then the next on the left, pass in front of the 'Hotel restaurant Au Chasseur> Arrival at the starting point.
