The medieval town of Pujols is listed as one of the "most beautiful villages in France" and, despite the loss of its castle and ramparts, it has kept what made it so special in the Middle Ages: houses combining stone, wood, brick and cob, its town gates, its wells and its churches. The circuit around the town offers a close-up view of the Lot valley and the bastide town of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, as well as a panorama of the Mail valley where the Masse river flows.
As you stroll through the streets of this picturesque village, you will discover small shops: a painter, a gallery owner, an antique watchmaker and an antique dealer. Lovers of culture and heritage will also find happiness in Pujols, especially if they follow the guided tour, offered at the tourist office.
Under the wooden hall, every Sunday morning, from April to September, is held the market, not to be missed!
