La So Vélo - voie verte des Landes à la Garonne

To the delight of cycling enthusiasts, a new route reserved exclusively for pedestrians, cyclists and non-motorized modes of transport (excluding horse riders) opened in 2023 in the département.
Accessible by train from Marmande SNCF station, La So Vélo links Marmande with the spa town of Casteljaloux (and Clarens lake) and Pindères in the Landes region, over a distance of 27 km. Built on a former railroad line, the So Vélo allows you to ride safely between the Landes and Garonne rivers, passing through the towns of Marmande, Gaujac, Montpouillan, Samazan, Bouglon, Argenton, Poussignac, Casteljaloux and Pindères. It is also linked to the Canal des 2 Mers bike path (at the canal bridge in Montpouillan and near the Pont des Sables boat stop).
