Le monument d'Ailles

This circuit offers beautiful views of the Bièvre and Ailette valleys, the lake and the Chemin des Dames to the south. The sober epitaph of the Ailles monument ("Here was Ailles") recalls the martyrdom of the commune, which was never rebuilt after the 1914-1918 war.

In November 2007, the Center Parcs Aisne was established on the north shore of Lac de l'Ailette, offering multiple activities for the whole family: water activities, nature sports, relaxation areas.
